Shatterstar

Check out Shatterstar's Bio:

Shatterstar comes from the planet Mojoworld (about a century in the future, as opposed to the Mojoverse which co-exists with the contemporary Earth dimension, making him a time traveler as well as a dimension-hopper) which is ruled by the alien tyrant Mojo V. There, Shatterstar was created to be a slave, he claims to have had no parents, only a "gestation chamber." He was genetically engineered to have enhanced physical capabilities so he could serve as an arena gladiator.
Shatterstar learned the arts of battle as a warrior in arenas on Mojoworld, where he participated in combats staged for Mojo's television programs. It’s assumed it was here he developed his strong sense of honor and pride as a warrior, to combat the constant violence and death in his life. Eventually he escaped and joined the Cadre Alliance, the rebel group that sought to overthrow Mojo V's dictatorship. From there, he learned the Cadre's language and began taking part in missions.
On one of these missions, Arize sent him back in time to Earth to find the X-Men and get their assistance in defeating and overthrowing Mojo. He did not find the X-Men though. Shatterstar was either teleported or traveled back in time to Earth at the point just before Cable reorganized the New Mutants into X-Force. At first, he battled Cable, Domino, and the New Mutants, but after they talked with him the mutants aided him against the Imperial Protectorate. With Cable's assurance that they would help him defeat Mojo (though with the use of time travel it was not urgent that they leave anytime soon) Shatterstar became a founding member of the new team, X-Force.[1]
With X-Force on their first mission, Shattstar battled the Alliance of Evil, and first encountered the New Warriors.[2] He battled Night Thrasher and Silhouette.[3] With X-Force, the New Warriors, Moira MacTaggart's "Muir Island X-Men" team, and X-Factor, he battled Proteus.[4]
X-Force's next mission involved attacking the Mutant Liberation Front base, where Shatterstar battled Reaper.[5] With X-Force and Spider-Man, he next battled Tom Cassidy and the Juggernaut.[6] With X-Force, he battled the Toad's Brotherhood of Evil Mutants.[7]
Later Shatterstar discovered, to his bewilderment, that he also had the memories of an Earthling named Benjamin Russell.[8] Soon afterwards, Mojo made Cable and Shatterstar his prisoners and transformed them into digital images for one of his television programs. In the course of the show, Shatterstar was mortally wounded in combat. Mojo's sometime ally Spiral teleported Cable and Shatterstar back into reality, where they regained their true forms. Spiral brought Cable, Shatterstar, Longshot, (who was Shatterstar's ally on Mojoworld), and the X-Force member Siryn to the Weisman Institute for the Criminally Insane in Rutland, Vermont.
There Spiral directed them to the bedside of one of its patients, a mutant named Benjamin Russell who had no living relatives, had been in a coma since his powers had emerged, and, curiously, looked identical to Shatterstar. Longshot transferred Shatterstar's "uemeur," or soul, into Benjamin Russell's body, and the two became one. Apparently Shatterstar's body merged with Russell's as well, for the resulting body bore the starburst pattern that Shatterstar had around his left eye and his hair lengthened greatly. Restored to full health and consciousness, and feeling "whole" for the first time in his life, Shatterstar resumed his work as a member of X-Force.
However, this does not explain why Shatterstar had some of Benjamin Russell's memories before they merged, or why they looked so much alike. There are still too many mysteries yet to be explained about Shatterstar's true origin. It was hinted that Shatterstar may have been the child of Longshot and the mutant X-Man Dazzler in the early run of X-Men in 1992,[9] and a later medical exam conducted by the Beast upon Shatterstar revealed that he indeed possessed DNA identical to that of Longshot, his rumored father, along with such genetic features as hollow bones and a lack of white blood cells.[citation needed] Dazzler revealed that she was pregnant with Longshot's child and Longshot suggested the name "Shatterstar" for the unborn child.[10] Longshot and Dazzler returned to MojoWorld to free Longshot's people and Dazzler later appeared without Longshot and without a child. It has been speculated that Dazzler miscarried,[11] though it has not been established officially what became of the infant.
Shatterstar accompanied Rictor to the Richter home in Mexico to try and end Rictor's family's arms-dealing business. Both characters have since appeared separately so one assumes they succeeded, though it’s not known why they later parted.
Shatterstar is later seen in Madripoor, earning his money by fighting in arenas. He was sought out by Spiral, who had one of her agents make Shatterstar believe she wanted to kill him.[12] However, Spiral had previously admitted in an emotional confession to Cable, when he demanded that she reveal all that she knew about the answers behind the mysteries of Shatterstar's origin immediately after Shatterstar and Benjamin Russell had been merged, that both young men "meant more than life itself to her" before teleporting away. With a fake quest, Spiral lured Shatterstar to an alternate universe she had conquered and ruled. On that Earth, Spiral had also killed most of that world's heroes and mutants. That Earth's Shatterstar had been killed as well. He was found by that Earth's rebel forces, including Cable and some other members he knew from X-Force. Together, they eventually defeated Spiral. Upon returning to the mainstream Earth, Shatterstar was contacted by Cable and requested to temporarily join him on a mission to defeat the Skornn.[13] Shatterstar agreed, but first Cable wanted him to train with monks on Mount Xixabangma. After those monks were killed by Skornn's worshipers, Shatterstar was reunited with his old team and they eventually killed the Skornn.

[edit] Civil War
Main article: Civil War: X-Men
Following M-Day and the passing of the Superhuman Registration Act, Shatterstar teamed up with Domino and Caliban (all X-Force members) to break The 198 out of the encampment set up for mutants on the grounds of the Xavier Institute.[14] They took the escapees to a secret base provided to them by Captain America via Nick Fury.[15] While fighting O*N*E, he nearly killed Micromax, claiming that while there is no such thing as murder during war[16], he had only meant to disable him.[17]

[edit] X-Factor
A seemingly possessed Shatterstar makes a return in X-Factor #43, attacking Strong Guy and Rictor, with his hair cut off and his eyes glowing red, saying only the name "Cortex".[18]

[edit] Powers and abilities
Shatterstar possesses an overall superhuman level of physical and mental power (senses, strength, speed, reflexes/reactions, agility, flexibility, dexterity, coordination, balance, endurance, intelligence), as a result of the extra-dimensional genetic engineering that created him. He is an excellent military strategist and has had extensive training in many forms of the martial arts and interpersonal combat of Mojoworld; in particular, he is a master swordsman. His bones are hollow, making him far lighter than he looks and further increasing his athletic and acrobatic skills. He also has enhanced learning capabilities, being able to quickly learn and master languages and technology. He customarily wields two single-edged swords with spiked hand-guards and on occasion carries other weaponry as well. Shatterstar is able to regenerate damaged or destroyed tissue much faster than an ordinary human. Injuries such as slashes and stabbings heal completely within a matter of hours. Additionally, he possesses the ability to shift his internal organs within his body, lessening the chances of serious wounds that get through his body armor.
He also has the mutant ability to channel and generate powerful vibratory shock waves (and perhaps bio-electricity) charges through these blades, though he rarely uses them as they tend to exhaust him, and prefers to depend instead on his martial prowess. It is not clear as to whether his rarely used mutant abilities we

Blade vs Black Panther

Bigup to my Man Reggie, for giving me good one. He said: who win between Black Panther and Blade. And this one really catch off guard at first glance. But here's what we do know:

Blade

Ablities Powers:

At first Blade had only minor powers; he could sense other supernatural beings, his lifespan was longer than normal humans, he was immune to being turned into a vampire from their bite, and was also sensitive to light. He trained himself to become a top athlete and is a master with bladed weapons. Blade is also well versed in hand to hand combat.
After the first Blade motion picture, starring Wesley Snipes, attempts were made to make the comic book character more like now popular movie character. This was done by having Blade being bitten by Morbius, a genetically altered human with vampire-like abilities. After the bite, Blade’s own bio-chemistry reacted with Morbius’ bite to truly turn Blade into a Daywalker. A being with all the strengths, but none of the weaknesses of a vampire.
Blade now has superhuman strength, agility, and stamina. He still retains his former abilities to sense other supernatural beings and is still immune to becoming a true vampire. He also has an enhanced healing ability.

Black Panther

Power and Ablities:

The title "Black Panther" is a rank of office, chieftain of the Wakandan Panther Clan. As chieftain, the Panther is entitled to eat a special heart-shaped herb, as well as his mystical connection with the Wakandan Panther god, that grants him superhumanly acute senses (especially eyesight, night vision, and sense of smell) and increases his strength, speed, stamina, and agility to the peak of human development. T'Challa is a rigorously trained gymnast and acrobat, proficient in various African martial arts as well as contemporary ones and fighting styles that belong to no known disciplines. He is a skilled hunter, tracker, strategist, and scientist — he has a Ph.D. degree in physics from Oxford University. He is a genius in physics and advanced technology, and is a brilliant inventor. His senses are so powerful that he can pick up a prey's scent and memorize tens of thousands of individual ones.
As king of Wakanda, the Panther has access to a vast collection of magical artifacts, advanced Wakandan technological and military hardware, as well as the support of his nation's wide array of scientists, warriors, and mystics. The Wakandan military has been described as one of the most powerful on Earth. His attire is the sacred vibranium costume of the Wakandan Panther Cult.
In Volume 3, writer Christopher Priest expanded the Panther's day-to-day arsenal to include equipment such as an "energy dagger", a vibranium-weave suit, and a portable supercomputer, the "Kimoyo card." In Volume 4, writer Reginald Hudlin introduced such specialized equipment as "thrice-blessed armor" and "light armor" for specific tasks, and also outfitted him with the Ebony Blade, however the Ebony Blade was recently returned to the Black Knight by T'Challa's wife, Storm.[30]

Side note:
Its ironic that this character Black Panther and Blade are supposedely to be casted by the same actor Wesely Snipes. Its quite interesting to me that he would want to play both characters. But I will say that he need a remarkable job on the Blade trilogy. And I'm sure he would do the same if he played black Panther, but there are other actor would could play like Jai White would be perfect person to play him.

But thats another story anyway of course we want to take another look at good battle. And this one is very interesting Blade vs Black Panther. Both have the on special abilities. But to me Black Panther wouls still really have the advantage with his superior overall knowledge and lets not forget if they faught on his soil. Its all over for Mr. Blade.

But then again not to be left out of equation is the fact that Blade as super powers developed by his half vampire blood. So this would give Blade a distinct advantage.. as well but who to say it would definitely be nice to see... well thats the and until then stay fresh ,,,,

Rage of the New Warriors Bio

Bigup to the Newwarriors.com site its pretty. Alot of you who might not know who Rage is a character from Marvel Comics. But you should definitely check out the site this one feature..

Rage Bio:

RAGE Real Name: Elvin Daryl Haliday Aliases: Blacksmith Identity: Publically Known

History:

Twelve-year-old Elvin Haliday was visiting an unfamiliar neighborhood to trade some comic books with another boy when he was attacked by a gang of racist bullies. Elvin eluded them by hiding in the heavily polluted waters of Newtown Creek, but before he could climb out, Fisk Biochem workers dumped more illegal chemical waste into the creek, dousing him with it. Terrified and in pain, Elvin ran home to his only family, Granny Staples, and she nursed him back to health over a period of days. The boy recovered quickly, and in the weeks and months that followed, he went through a tremendous growth spurt that gave him a superhumanly powerful adult body. He was discouraged from seeking vengeance on his tormentors by the devoutly religious Granny Staples, who felt he should use his new powers for good. Fashioning a makeshift costume from a ski mask and a leather outfit, Elvin began operating as the super-vigilante Rage at the age of 14, targeting street criminals and drug dealers such as L.D. 50. He applied for membership in the Avengers, berating the team for their elitism and lack of visible minorities. Despite this obnoxious introduction, he was appointed a probationary Avengers reservist alongside Sandman after aiding the group in an otherdimensional mission. Though technically part of a substitute roster serving as backup for the active team, Rage was a frequent participant in Avengers cases, facing foes such as Ngh the Unspeakable, the Tetrarchs of Entropy, Doctor Doom, the Brethren, the Collector and Grotesk. Eventually, during a conflict with Hate-Monger and his racist pawns, the Sons of the Serpent, the Avengers discovered that Elvin was still a child and demoted him to trainee status. During that case, Elvin met the New Warriors, who befriended him and later convinced him to help them steal an Avengers quinjet for an emergency rescue mission. Expelled from the Avengers for this misconduct, Rage joined the New Warriors, becoming a mainstay of the group and forming a close friendship with Speedball. When the Poison Memories gang killed Granny Staples as part of a vendetta against the Warriors, Rage cold-bloodedly killed gang leader Kimeiko Ashu, though a judge later deemed his actions self-defense. Warriors leader Dwayne Taylor (Night-Thrasher) and Dwayne's mentor Andrew Chord were appointed Elvin's legal guardians, and when Dwayne later had a falling-out with the other Warriors, Elvin left the team with him. Serving as mentors to the troubled super-youths Psionex for a time, Night-Thrasher and Rage eventually rejoined the Warriors, who began to drift apart as their members pursued differing goals. Rage has decided to concentrate on his studies at the Oatridge School for Boys and is only infrequently active as a super hero of late, though he has been willing to assist the Avengers and the Warriors against foes such as the Elements of Doom, Morgan Le Fay, Whirlwind, Taskmaster, A.I.M., Lord Templar and an insane Scarlet Witch. Rage resurfaced when The Initiative was formed. He led a small band of heroes from the Initiative for awhile, including members such as Slapstick, Ultra-Girl, Thor Girl, and a few others. Rage found himself the center of an investigation when Gauntlet was beaten and left for dead.
Height: 6'6" Weight: 450 lbs. Eyes: Brown Hair: None
Powers: A child possessed of a massive superhuman adult physique, Rage has tremendous superhuman strength and durability; for reasons unknown, his strength increases when he uses it in violent or aggressive ways. His speed is superhuman (enabling him to outrun an express train with ease), and his stamina, reflexes and recuperative powers are also enhanced beyond normal human levels. Accessories: None Note: Despite his height and appearance, Rage is still a very young teenager.

Kobe Face

Its interesting to note whenever Michael Jordan was going to make a big play the tongue would come out. Are in modern times whenever Lebron James was nervous he would bit his nails. The Kobe look is another way of showing hard or how bad he really want to win the Chapionship this year. Its way of putting on that I'm pissed and this going to be my title if you like it or not. I for think it really sends a message to all the defenders to let them know the mamba is coming at you everytime. So with that will see if we get the same look in game of the NBA conference. Thats the news and until then stay fresh .....

Nightwing vs DareDevil

Daredevil vs Nightwing who would win sounds like a pretty good matchup. With two of the most similar characters in the comic universe let take a look at there powers.
Heres what we know about daredevil :
Powers and Abilities:
Although blind, the character's remaining four senses function with high levels of superhuman accuracy and sensitivity, giving him abilities far beyond the limits of a sighted person. Due to his lack of sight, Daredevil developed a radar sense.[33] This radar sense has a function similar to echolocation.[citation needed] However, as Daredevil's other senses are stronger, they are also sensitive; his main weakness is his vulnerability to powerful sounds or odors that can be used to temporarily weaken his radar sense.[34] This weakness is often used to immobilize Daredevil if he were bombarded by too much sound, which will cause him great pain and disorient him.[35]
When Frank Miller expanded most of Daredevil's abilities, he attempted to make them "extraordinary enough to be exciting, but not on par with Superman", noting Superman's distinctly unbelievable powers.[33] When Miller joined the title in 1979, the first thing he did to the character was "revamp" his radar sense and made it less distinct and more believable; he wanted Daredevil to have the "proximity" sense that most martial artists claim to have.[33] Because of this, he created an ability for Daredevil to hear the Hulk's heartbeat four blocks away. Due to the characters' sensitive sense of touch, Daredevil can read by passing his fingers over the letters on a page.[33] Daredevil has also commonly used his superhuman hearing to serve as a lie detector for interrogation. However, this ability can be fooled if the other persons heart is not beating at a normal rate, such as if they have a pacemaker. [36]
Though he has no superhuman physical attributes, Daredevil is also a master of martial arts.[37] Having been trained by Stick, Daredevil is a formidable hand-to-hand combatant. His typical moves are unique blends of the martial arts of Ninjutsu, Jujutsu, Judo and stick fighting combined with American-style boxing while making full use of his gymnastics capabilities.[38]
Daredevil's signature weapon is his specially-designed billy club, which he created.[34] Disguised as a blind man's cane in civilian garb, it is a multi-purpose weapon and tool that contains thirty feet of aircraft control cable connected to a case-hardened steel grapnel. Internal mechanisms allow the cable to be neatly wound and unwound, while a powerful spring launches the grapnel. The handle can be straightened for use when throwing. The club can also be split into two parts, one of which is a fighting baton, the other of which ends in a curved hook.[2][34] On some occasions, his billy club can extend into a six foot bo-staff.
Here's what we know about
Nightwings
Powers and abilities:

Dick Grayson has no super powers per se, but he has been trained by one of the greatest martial artists and critical thinkers of the DC universe, the dark knight of Gotham City, Batman. Due to this training, Dick Grayson has proved himself to be a top class hero, leading super teams and even taking Batman’s place for awhile.
Nightwing is an master at many different martial arts and has extensive acrobatics training. He is also versed in using the many gadgets that Batman has created, from Batarangs, grappling hooks, and even driving vehicles. He deploys many different gadgets in the Nightwing persona, such as a taser, different smoke and tear gases, lock picks, and more. He also uses a pair of Eskrima Sticks, used in a Filipino Martial Art.
Dick Grayson has also become a great detective and leader. He has led the Teen Titans on numerous occasions, the Outsiders, and even the JLA for a time. He has become a respected member of the superhero community and has earned the respect of his former mentor, Batman.
So it would seem that this pretty even. But tell me what you think.. Until stay fresh
