Nike Air Force 1 High Premium

Can you believe Nike is now releasing a Air Force Nike boot. The crazy thing about the shoe is that it still looks like the orginal version of the Air force one. I have to say this a great idea. I really did think that they kept the design very simple. But sometimes I truly believe that the more you the orginal design of the shoe. More you hurt what everyone love about through out the years... I give the shoe a 3.0

JONAH HEX

With recent release  of the upcoming movie Jonah Hex I know a lot of you guys might not be really that hip to this comic turned movie. So I below I have provided just a quick regarding the character.

JONAH HEX BIO:

Jonah Woodson Hex is a Western comic bookantihero created by writer John Albano and artistTony DeZuniga and published by DC Comics. Hex is a surly and cynical cowboy whose face is horribly scarred on the right side, and who is bound by a personal code of honor to protect and avenge the innocent. He is played by Josh Brolin in an upcoming 2010 film adaptation of the same name.

[edit]Publication history

The character first appeared in a full-page in-house ad for All-Star Western #10 which was published in various Nov/Dec 1971-dated DC comics, including a few of DC's war comics line, as well as a half-page version of the same house ad in Batman #237. This house ad contains the first published images of Jonah Hex, as well as two dialogue-filled comic strip panels not used in his first "full-story appearance". This "cameo appearance" pre-dates his first "full-story appearance" by a few weeks.
His first "full-story appearance" was published a few weeks later in volume two of All-Star Western #10 (1972), which was renamed Weird Western Tales with its twelfth issue. Jonah Hex all but dominated the new title right up until issue #38, at which point Scalphunter took over the spotlight while Jonah moved into his own self-titled series, Jonah Hex, in 1977. The series lasted for 92 issues with Michael Fleisher as the main writer.
Jonah Hex was canceled during Crisis on Infinite Earths (in which Jonah also appeared along with Scalphunter and other western heroes in issue #3, 1985), but in the same year Jonah moved to a new eighteen-issue series titled Hex, also penned by Michael Fleisher. In a bizarre turn of events, he found that he had been transported to the 22nd century and became somewhat of a post-apocalyptic warrior, reminiscent of Mad Max. The series had mediocre success in the United States but was critically acclaimed and well received in Great Britain, Italy, Spain, and Japan.[1]
Three Jonah Hex miniseries have been published under DC's Vertigo imprint. These series, written byJoe R. Lansdale and drawn by Tim Truman, fit more into the western-horror genre, as Hex interacts with zombies ("Two-Gun Mojo" #1-5, 1993), a Cthulhoid monster ("Riders of the Worm and Such" #1-5, 1995), and spirit people ("Shadows West" #1-3, 1999).
In November 2005, DC began a new monthly Jonah Hex series written by Justin Gray and Jimmy Palmiotti with interior art by varying (and occasionally recurring) artists. In assorted postings on their message board,[2] Grey and Palmiotti have stated their intent to depict various adventures from across the full length of Hex's life and career. The main artistic difference is that the series is published without the external restraints of the Comics Code Authority which allows for harder edged stories without having to keep with the Vertigo imprint's dark fantasy themes. Famous Hex artist Tony DeZuniga has pencilled two issues of the book (#5 and #9) and may do more in the future. John Higgins drew issue #28[3] and J. H. Williams III provided the art for Jonah Hex #35,[4] expressing an interest in doing more: "I certainly want to do more issues myself or even a graphic novel if the opportunity and schedule presented itself."[5]
To coincide with the release of the film Gray and Palmiotti wrote an original graphic novel, No Way Back (ISBN 1401225500), that was illustrated by Tony DeZuniga.[6]

[edit]Character biography

Jonah Hex, Vol.1 #1, 1977. Jose Luis Garcia Lopez, artist.
Jonah has battled alcoholism, and as an adult faced his mother's turn to prostitution. Though he traveled extensively throughout the American West, he also ended up in South America and China. At one point he quit bounty hunting, got married and had a son, and took up farming, though it didn't last.
Hex's facial injuries can be traced back to being sold into slavery by his father to the Apache for safe passage. Jonah eventually saved the chief from being killed by a mountain lion and was made an honorary member of the tribe. He was soon betrayed by the envious son of the chief while on a raid. He returned years later to challenge him in a sacred tomahawk battle but the chief's son sabotaged Jonah's tomahawk and Jonah used his knife in self defense when the tomahawk broke. The tribe saw this as breaking the rules of the sacred battle and sentenced Jonah to wear the mark of the demon by pressing a searing hot tomahawk to his face. They said his honorary relationship to the chief was the only thing that saved him from death.
In 1904, Jonah was shot during a card game (but not before he was transported to 2050 for the Hex series. The exact date when this occurred has been in debate. Several sources point to 1875, however a running timeline of events in Jonah's life places this closer to 1878). His corpse was stolen, stuffed, mounted, and dressed in a ridiculous singing cowboy costume, then put on display in a traveling circus. The circus owner was eventually murdered and Jonah's body was stolen yet again. It would pass through various hands before finally being acquired by the restaurant "Planet Krypton", owned by Booster Gold.
In 2010 Jonah was found by a Black Lantern ring and was revived as a Black Lantern.[7]

[edit]Recurring villains and supporting cast

Being a "non-superhero", Jonah did not have a "Rogues gallery" comparable to costumed comic-book heroes, though he had a few adversaries who returned from time to time. The first and most notable of these to date was Quentin Turnbull, known at first as simply the man with the eagle-topped cane.
Turnbull was the father of Hex's best friend, Jeb Turnbull. During the American Civil War, Jonah actually surrendered himself to the Union forces after the passage of the Emancipation Proclamation, but refused to betray where his fellow soldiers were camped. A Union soldier was able to determine the location of that camp by examining the dirt in the hooves of Jonah's horse. The Union soldiers captured all of Jonah's fellow soldiers and then later massacred most of them, framing Jonah as a turncoat. Turnbull's son was one of those slaughtered and Turnbull vowed his vengeance upon Jonah.
Turnbull hired an unnamed stage actor to impersonate Hex and help "destroy Hex". This actor, naming himself "The Chameleon", was eventually hideously scarred in a fire started by Hex, and vowed vengeance upon Hex.
El Papagayo was a Mexican bandit running guns. Hex was hired by the United States Secret Service(actually a man hired by Turnbull to pose as an agent) to infiltrate El Papagayo's band and bring him to justice. Hex was unsuccessful and he and Papagayo met several more times over the years.
Tallulah Black is a character introduced in 2007. As a young woman she was savagely raped and mutilated by the men who murdered her family. She was saved by Hex, who helped her gain vengeance. She would go on to become a bounty hunter herself, and eventually Hex's lover.[8] Tallulah eventually became pregnant by Hex, however the child, a girl, was killed before being born (JH V2, #50).

[edit]Significant dates in Jonah's life

The majority of Jonah's adventures were never given actual dates, however, some significant events were given year references. The ones listed here are actually mentioned or calculated using dialogue or other references.
November 1, 1838: Jonah is born. (JH V1, #50 & reference in #57)
June, 1848: Jonah's mother runs away with a traveling salesman. (JH V1, #57)
July, 1851: Jonah's father, a physically abusive alcoholic, sells him into slavery to the Apache in exchange for either a pile of pelts (JH V1, #7) or safe passage through Indian land (JH V2, #14). The two Jonah Hex series have different explanations, and it is unclear which is the canonical version of the story, if either.
1853: At the age of fifteen, Jonah saves the tribe's chief from a puma. The chief expresses his gratitude by adopting Jonah as his second son. Jonah eventually exceeds the chief's son, Noh-Tante, in the chief's eyes. (JH V1, #7)
1854: Jonah & Noh-Tante, in a tribal ritual of manhood, raid a nearby Kiowa village to steal ponies. Noh-Tante ambushes Jonah and leaves him to the Kiowas and tells the chief that Jonah is dead. Jonah is either 'rescued' by scalphunters who slaughter the Kiowas and shoot Jonah, leaving him for dead before a trapper finds him and nurses him back to health (JH V1, #7), or Jonah manages to defeat the Kiowas but does not return to the Apache village. (JH V2, #14) Once again, the records are conflicting.
1859: Jonah is engaged to Cassie Wainwright but she is killed by Indians the day before their wedding. (JH V1, #65)
Dec 25th, 1861: Jonah and Turnbull's son Jeb give Quentin Turnbull an eagle-topped cane. (JH V1, #55; WWT #29)
Jan. 1863: Jonah surrenders to the Union forces at Fort Charlotte. Jonah's platoon is subsequently captured and then slaughtered during an attempted escape known as the Fort Charlotte Massacre. Jonah is accused by the survivors of being a turncoat. (WWT #29, JH V1, #35)
May 2, 1863: Jonah accidentally shoots Stonewall Jackson as the General returns from a reconnaissance, inflicting the wound which cost him his arm & precipitated his death shortly after due to sepsis. (JH V1, #37)
April 23, 1865: Jonah surrenders (once again) to Union forces at the federal stockade in Lynchburg, Virginia, two weeks after Lee surrendered to Grant. (JH V1, #30) It is assumed, but not yet chronicled, that Jonah returned to the Confederacy after the Fort Charlotte massacre.
1866: Jonah locates his old tribe and tells the chief how Noh-Tante betrayed him years before. The chief decrees that this must be settled by a tomahawk battle. Noh-Tante secretly sabotages Jonah's tomahawk so that the handle will break. In an act of desperation during the fight, Jonah pulls a knife and kills Noh-Tante. As punishment for breaking the rules, Jonah is bound and the chief presses a heated tomahawk to the right side of Jonah's face giving him "The Mark of the Demon." The tribe then banishes Jonah. (JH V1, #8)
Winter, 1866: Jonah takes his first job bounty hunting by tracking down an old Confederate buddy, Eddie Cantwell (JH V1, #30-31)
1874: While tracking down the kidnapping of Laura Vanden, Jonah once again comes in contact with the Apache chief and is captured. The chief admits to taking Laura and announces that he will kill Hex at sunrise. Jonah is rescued by White Fawn, his former girlfriend and widow of Noh-Tante. The chief kills White Fawn and Jonah kills the chief before he rescues Laura Vanden. (JH V1, #8)
1875: Jonah marries Mei Ling and promises to give up bounty-hunting and gunfighting. (JH V1, #45)
Spring, 1876: Jonah's son, Jason, is born. A month later, Mei Ling takes Jason and leaves Jonah. (JHV1, #51-53)
August, 1878: Jonah is transported to the year 2050 by Reinhold Borsten. Several documents reference the date of the time travel to be 1875, but a careful examination of events, dates, and corresponding timespans, place this event closer to 1878. (JH V1, #92)
1899: Jonah meets his grown son, Jason, in Mexico. Jonah learns that Mei Ling has died, but leaves before finding out that he now has a grandson, Woodson Hex II. (JH V2, #25)
1904: Jonah is gunned down and killed by George Barrow. Despite some reports to the contrary, Jonah was not killed during a gunfight, nor was he shot in the back. Jonah was sitting playing cards in a local establishment. As he took off his glasses to clean them, George Barrow stormed into the establishment and shot Jonah in the chest with both barrels of a shotgun. Barrow was then confronted by the local law. Barrow dropped his weapon and surrendered but the local sheriff killed Barrow in cold blood. (Jonah Hex Spectacular)

[edit]Powers and Abilities

Despite having the "Mark of the Demon," Hex is an outstanding marksman who rarely ever misses his target. He is also a resourceful combatant.

SWAG OF THE WEEK

A lot of times Swag or style is not always about the look. Somtimes its more about the attitude. You have to be very confident in what you wear. And a lot of people just like to maybe follow the trends. And really have there on look. What are really appreciate about James Brown is that he was all of about stilling the spotlight. And talking to him you could tell the confidence. And thats the first rule of swag confidence.....

BRUCE LEE ORIGINAL SWAG

This issue of original Swag were going to take a look at boy Bruce Lee. Fresh Def. Killing these dudes literally. This is definitely what I could a nice Sunday complete sunglass.

TYREKE EVANS R.O.Y.

No surprise Tyreke Evans has been a beast all year long since the beginging of the season. I would say though that I was surprised that Brandon Jennings was only second in voting. I think he had a better season than Stephen Curry this year. But I guess leading your team into the playoffs really doesn't count for anything. Oh well the NBA is funny like that sometimes...

FAST AND FURIOUS

After the release of SLS AMG Official F1 safety car, there is another good news for Mercedes-Benz fans, photos have leaked of the up coming SLS AMG GT3 race car and if the photos are any indication, it will look stunning on the race track. Noticeably there are modifications to the body that improves the aerodynamics and increase cooling down of the engine and parts. Carbon fiber parts are a must for cars of this caliber aiding in weight loss and strength. Interior is kept minimal with roll cage, full bucket seats, digital display instruments and priority over performance rather than comfort. As for the performance of the vehicle, it is said to produce above 600 PS/441 KW/592 BHP. via: WCF

Man this car is real fresh nuff. I give it a 5.0

SKAAR SON OF HULK

WHO KNEW THE HULK HAD A SON?

Skaar is the progeny of the Hulk and of Caiera the Oldstrong. As seen in the first issue, the blast that killed Caiera turned her into dust in the Hulk's arms. After her death a cocoon containing Skaar fell into the lake of fire. After a period of time, Skaar emerged from the cocoon, appearing to be the age equivalent of a human preteen. A year later and he appears to have grown into a teenager. He quickly grows into what seems to be an adult after he is attacked by the Bone Axeman's Dragon's flame, which at first looks like an example of his old power.[5] Skaar defeats the Bone Axemen and his dragon with only a sword and his bare hands. Skaar, after having a confrontation with the princess Omaka, is shown to be able to speak intelligent sentences when the group is going to be attacked by Wildebots and the two form an alliance. After sometime, he gains the power of the Oldstrong with the help of his followers. Soon after, he finds himself allied with the Former King, who was saved from death and rebuilt with a majority of cybernetic parts by the Wildebots. After becoming his ally, many people who considered him a savior, including the Omaka, daughter of the Red King (whom he attempted to kill during his reign, along with the rest of her family so there would be no heir) lose faith in him and ally themselves with Axeman Bone.[6]
With his Old power, he manages to see the acts of death committed by everyone on the planet and intends to kill Axeman and his followers, and almost succeeds, when the Silver Surfer makes a sudden return and manages to take away his Oldstrong power and reveals that Galactus is coming to the planet to consume it. He offers Skaar the chance to use the Oldstrong power to revive the ancient technology of the Shadows to evacuate the planet, becoming a hero of the universe as the planet Sakaar would have enough energy to satiate Galactus' hunger for a hundred thousand years.[7]
Throughout the series his mother, Caiera, spoke to him asking him to fight for the good of the people of the planet, but he insisted on revenge, consumed with rage over Axeman Bone[8] Through one final plea of his mother's spirit, she asked him to give up his rage; he instead proceeds into battle, with no regard for the innocent. Caiera, using the little of her strength left as a spirit, used her Oldstrong power to return in a stone form of herself initially, then in the image of his father.[9] She proceeded to defeat him with ease and asks why he insisted on being a killer instead of attempting to make peace. He then reveals his plan of killing everyone on the planet he deemed evil after glimpsing the destruction so many people made when he briefly wielded the power of Oldstrong.[10]
His mother, offering him one last chance of redemption, makes Silver Surfer (still being controlled by an obedience disk) bring Galactus, a being who has killed billions in order to truly grasp if he was able to succeed at his plans, showing him with a vision that the consequences of his actions will result in the death of everyone on the planet by the hands of Galactus. The Surfer then sends him back to Sakaar after believing he sees things his way. Caiera then returns to being one with the planet, believing Skaar has taken up the Silver Surfer on his previous offer of evacuating the planet and returns his old power to him to do so. Skaar then unsuspectingly uses his newly returned old power to destroy the ships, dooming everyone on the planet.[11] He chose that the planet and his mother's soul was more important than its inhabitants and gave the Surfer an ultimatum, spare Sakaar or he will use his old power to increase Galactus' hunger which would cause him to consume every planet the Surfer managed to save. The Surfer decides to leave, informing everyone on the planet of his actions and how they would be subsequently responsible for the deaths of billions. Caiera returns to him once more and denounces him as her son for his decision and exiles him from the planet, saying she can understand the reasons that the people of Earth wanted to get rid of Hulk. She then absorbs the power of Sakaar and awaited for Galactus to consume her.[12]

[edit]Arrival to Earth

Skaar arrives on Earth having been exiled with the sole desire to kill his father, the Hulk. He then comes into conflict with the Fantastic Four and other Army personnel. Thought dead in a bombing, Skaar shows that he can revert to his human form, appearing as a five year old child with indistinguishable, human skin color. After running into and attacking the Warbound, Skaar and the Hulk finally come face to face, with Skaar asking how he should kill his father. Kate Waynesboro replies, "You don't."[13] Skaar then attacks the Hulk, who, for most of the fight, was beating Skaar almost effortlessly, although his strength fluctuated during the battle due to Banner repressing the Hulk's "Green Scar" persona. The fight causes the Earth to shake, creating a fissure which heads toward a nuclear power plant. Kate attempts to prevent this from happening but is not able, due to her lack of mastery of the Oldstrong power. Skaar ultimately intervenes, stopping the eruption and ends his fight with his father, claiming that this isn't the Hulk he wanted to fight and declares Earth as his new home.
Skaar later encounters Bruce Banner, who had been robbed of the ability to become the Hulk by the Red Hulk. Skaar then reiterates his desire to kill the Hulk, but not in Banner's form, since they truly are separate personas. Bruce offers to teach Skaar how to kill the Hulk, should he ever return (which is actually a ruse to 1) try and guide this savagely powerful man into being a hero, imparting fatherly wisdom to him in the guise of training and 2) to keep an eye on him), and proceeds to coerce a fight between Skaar and Juggernaut to help Skaar prepare for this confrontation.[14] Skaar manages to win his first fight by throwing the Juggernaut into open space, proving to his father he has the ability to use cunningly his physical strength.[15]
As a second lesson, devised to grant the still naive Skaar the ability to discern friend from foe, and confront his legacy as the scion of the Hulk, Banner uses the recently met Wolverine to bring Daken and Skaar together. After a friendly chat, Skaar apparently asks Daken to kill him, forcing Banner and Wolverine to separate the two with an impromptu Fastball Special. The two fathers proceed to separate their offspring, noting to each other how strange their parenting seems.[16]
Meanwhile, Victoria Hand and Moonstone (still in Avenger's Ms. Marvel garb) lure Banner and Skaar near an installation seemingly meant to siphon away his Oldstrong power. At first taking Victoria as his hostage, he frees the two women, gleefully acknowledging their real plan: rather than stripping him of his heritage, they wanted to recharge Banner's physiology, accelerating the rebirth of the Hulk. Banner freezes Skaar's childlike glee, noting that Skaar will still need training for his revenge.[17].
Skaar later assists Bruce Banner and A-Bomb into fighting Harpy. It turns out that the Harpy that attacked them isn't Betty Ross like they originally thought, but Marlo Chandler mutated into the Harpy by Leader.[18]
Skaar and Bruce Banner later fight Tyrannus and the Mole Man when he and his Moloids invade Manhattan.[19]

[edit]Fall of the Hulks

After defeating the Moloids, Skaar is proclaimed a hero and they hold a parade in his honor. During the parade, not only does Uatu, the Watcher show up, but Banner sees his supposedly deceased wife in the crowd. Convinced his wife has come back, Bruce teleports to speak to his secret partner the Red Hulk warning him that he better not have had anything to do with his wife's return. The Red Hulk then proceeds to insult Banner, in that he hardly considers him a threat, baiting him and making him angry enough to begin his transformation into the Hulk, but Banner teleports away to Latveria, near Doctor Doom's castle, supposedly to transform in private. In the next scene, the Green Hulk, who seems back in action, smashes into Doom's castle and begins battling the Doctor. The two duel for a bit before Doom finally bests the Hulk with magic. Suddenly, Skaar teleports (using Banner's teleporter) onto the scene and takes on Doom, not to save his father, but to make sure HE is the only one that will finally get to kill him. However, Doom quickly overwhelms him with spells and reverts Skaar back to his 5 year old, non-powered form. Doom then explains that the "Hulk" he was fighting was actually a robot powered with cosmic energy (which Doom consumed to help defeat him and bolster his own power) sent by the Leader and taunts him that his "rescue" and approaching death at Doom's hands was all for nothing. Just before he strikes the final blow, Banner teleports in and saves his son. Doom uses this opportunity to try and kill both his now vulnerable foes, but finds Banner's defensive technology too great. Deciding to use his magic instead, of which they had no defense, Doom begins to succumb to a "poison pill" that was laced into the cosmic energy he absorbed from the Hulk robot, causing him to rapidly lose his much vaunted intelligence and therefore, be unable to remember the spells he would need to kill them much less even remember how to use his armor. At that point, the Leader reactivates the Hulk robot, who carries Doom off. Finally getting to meet his son in his mortal form and mind (Skaar's alter-ego is much like the Hulk's in that it is a distinct alternate personality from his powered form) he tries to connect with him, but Skaar spurns his fathers affection, stating that Banner cares for nothing other than to get his wife back no matter the cost and that Banner set up Skaar to find his teleportation tech to follow him to Latveria, regardless of what might happen to him or what danger he might have been in. He then reiterates his desire to someday kill him, that is whenever he finally transforms back into the Hulk.[20]
They then go to the aid of the Mighty Avengers that were being attacked by Red-She-Hulk. There he engages her in battle, but she manages to escape with Hank Pym.[21] He then goes with Banner and his version of the Avengers (consisting of A-Bomb, Korg, Namor, Spider-ManWolverine, and himself). While the battle happens Banner and Skaar are attacked by Lyra. However much to Skaar's shock Banner is working with Lyra and shoots her 4 levels up. He asks what's going on, to which Banner replies he used them to save the day and his wife and promises he will get what he wants from him when this is over. Skaar responds that he can smell lies, at which Banner replies "I know." They are then attacked by Red-She-Hulk while Banner releases the captured smart heroes. Skaar is wounded by Red She-Hulk but survives and Banner then defeats her. However since Red Hulk had been used as a power source the Intelligencia plan is successful. Transforming several heroes, soldiers and people in Washington into Hulks. Amadeus Cho, who had been trying to get Betty out of a safe where Talbot left her before transforming, was also transformed. An explosion then occurs and Skaar is launched off the Helicarrier and Banner is defeated bu the "Hulkified" heroes and captured by the Intelligencia. He is aggregated to the captured smart heroes while living in a fantasy world.[22]

[edit]Powers and abilities

Skaar has powers inherited from both his parents. Like the Hulk, his father, he has superhuman endurance, regenerative abilities, and superhuman strength and durability, which, like his father, increases when he is enraged, although he isn't as strong as the Savage Hulk persona. He also can revert to a human form when calm or otherwise incapacitated. However, in his case, his other form is half-human, half-Oldstrong. From his mother, Caiera, he has the powers of an Oldstrong, emerging from his birth cocoon able to walk and talk within moments, and he can draw power from the planet and harden his body. Because he was born in lava, he is now and forever immune to fire, lava and other intense heat sources. It may be because he has high regenerative abilities, though he does not express pain when in lava.
